BREAKING NEWS! Horrific accident.

At least 15 people tragically lost their lives in a devastating accident on Thursday in Manitoba, Canada. The crash involved a bus carrying elderly passengers that collided with a truck at an intersection near Carberry, about 170 kilometers west of Winnipeg.

The bus passengers were en route to a casino in Carberry when the collision occurred. Rob Hill, Deputy Police Officer and commander of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Manitoba, confirmed that “at least 15 individuals were pronounced dead as a result of the collision.”

In addition to the fatalities, ten others were hospitalized with injuries. While both the bus and truck drivers survived the accident, authorities are still investigating the cause and have not determined who was at fault. Heartbreaking images from the scene showed broken wheelchair seats and walking frames scattered near tarpaulins that covered the victims.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed his condolences, offering support to the families of those who lost their lives and to those who were injured. Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson also shared her heartfelt sympathies with those affected.

This tragedy is one of the deadliest accidents in Canada’s recent history. In 2018, a similar collision in Saskatchewan resulted in the deaths of 16 people. These incidents serve as sobering reminders of the importance of safety and responsibility on the roads to help prevent such disasters in the future.
